Beneficence

The story centers on a young man named Gabriel, who was blessed with the gift of healing. As a result of this gift, he failed to have a normal childhood, and his parents did not make it any easier as they were obsessed with the money Gabriel’s gift brought to them. Out of greed, his father meddles with diabolic powers to amplify Gabriel’s gift, thereby unknowingly enslaving Gabriel.

One fateful day, Gabriel meets Sarah, and his encounter with her leads him to regain his freedom but lose his family. Sarah, who is also a significant character in this book, has a gift also, a gift of discernment; though it wasn’t elaborated in this series, we see her give others a shove in acting out their gifts. Her character plays a vital role in connecting other characters with one another. Then there is Carla, who is gifted in worship ministration, but she only comes to her full potential after she encounters Sarah. And as she comes into her gift, she puts her marriage in jeopardy. Also, there is Everest and Mary, whose lives and ministry serves as a significant piece in the characters acknowledging God’s beneficence
